Odelia Cooper, MD is a Professor of Medicine within the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, as well as the Pituitary Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She also serves as the Director of the Clinical and Translational Research Center. Dr. Cooper obtained her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed both her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai. From 2014 to 2025, she held the position of Program Director for the Endocrine Fellowship Program.
Dr. Cooper is actively involved in the Endocrine Society, serves on the Board of Directors for the Pituitary Society, and is a past President of the Association of Program Directors in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Her clinical expertise is focused on pituitary and adrenal diseases. She has been the recipient of NIH grants to investigate the role of the ErbB pathway in pituitary tumorigenesis and the application of tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy for aggressive pituitary tumors. Additionally, she collaborates on research in acromegaly and nonfunctioning pituitary adenomas and perioperative management of pituitary adenomas. She is currently leading clinical and translational projects related to adult-onset craniopharyngioma.
