Dr. Milay Luis Lam, MD, FTOS, is a board-certified endocrinologist and obesity medicine specialist serving as a division chief at Meritus Medical Center in Maryland. Raised in Peru, she trained at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia before moving to the US in 2009, where she worked at The Gomez Sanchez Lab at University of Mississippi Medical Center, before doing her residency and fellowship in Brooklyn NY. Upon fellowship graduation she was faculty at SUNY Downstate and UPMC, and Currently teaches Medical Students at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and at Meritus Osteopathic School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine.
