Professor Henrik Falhammar, MD, PhD, FRACP is a senior endocrinologist and researcher at Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. He graduated from the Karolinska Institutet 1995 and 2002 finished his specialist training in Endocrinolgy and Internal Medicine at the Karolinska University Hospital. Professor Falhammar is currently the Director of Research and the Adrenal Unit at Karolinska University Hospital. He has also worked extensively both clinically and doing research in Australia druing his career.

Prof Falhammar received a PhD in Endocrinology 2010 from the Karolinska Institutet on the subject “Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia in Adults”. He is a Senior Researcher and has been involved in numerous clinical studies concerning patients with CAH. Even though his main research area is Adrenal Disorders, he has published in several other areas of Endocrinology. He has published more than 315 peer reviewed articles of which 115 deal with CAH.

Prof Falhammar is a member of the Endocrine Society, the European Society of Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Swedish Endocrine Society.
