Dr. Silas Culver, MD, assistant professor, Univeresity of Virginia
Dr. Culver is a physican and basic-translational investigator at the University of Virginia. His research interests include obesity and its role in kidney disease, as well as hypertension and adrenal disorders including the diagnosis and management of primary aldosteornism. He currently has an NIH K08 award studying the impact of fatty infiltration and lipotoxicity in the kidney during obesity. Clinically, he treats patients with general endocrine disroders and specializes in treating patients with adrenal disease.
