Jeffrey Boord, MD, MPH is the Chief Quality and Safety Officer for Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dr. Boord received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, completed internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan and Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a graduate of the Veterans Affairs National Quality Scholars Fellowship Program and earned his master’s degree in public health from Vanderbilt University. In his current role, he oversees patient and workforce safety, quality and accreditation, infection prevention, and medical staff services at a community not-for-profit health system with 15 hospitals and over 17,000 co-workers. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare quality and safety and is a practicing adult endocrinologist. He previously served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Endocrine Society from 2022-2025.
