Michael Morkos, MD, MS, MHI, ECNU; co-director, IUH Thyroid and Parathyroid Center, and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Morkos is dedicated to providing patients with the highest-quality care and cutting-edge technology, with a focused expertise in thyroid disorders. He was the first to introduce thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in Indiana as a minimally invasive treatment for compressive thyroid nodules, and has a special interest in spectral Doppler ultrasound for diagnosing thyroid disease. He holds ECNU certification, the premier endocrine credential in neck ultrasound. Outside of medicine, Dr. Morkos enjoys table tennis and volunteers at The Holy Resurrection Coptic Orthodox Church.
