David W. Toth, MD - Senior Medical Director; Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at North Shore Community Health. I have been with the organization for nearly eight years and was medical director of the Peabody site as well as medical director of telehealth starting in March 2020. My roles include consulting on patients seen by the primary care providers in the organization and developing policies and protocols for management of diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other endocrine-related disorders. I also am a clinical instructor for the medical students and other trainees from Tufts University School of Medicine who rotate through our organization. My research has been focused on health disparities with regards to obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic disease. Most recently I have been examining the impact that the proliferation of "wellness-" and "men's health-" clinics have had on the health of men ages 25-55
