Jad G. Sfeir, MD, MSc, CCD, FACP, FACE is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where he holds a dual appointment in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition and the Section of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. He currently serves as the Chair of the Mayo Clinic Bone Core Group and the Director of the Advanced Fellowship in Metabolic Bone Disorders. Dr. Sfeir was the inaugural Kogod Scholar at the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging where he continues to study biomarkers of cellular senescence in the musculoskeletal system as well as skeletal senescence in type 2 diabetes. His clinical interests also include skeletal aging, skeletal health in diabetes, parathyroid disorders as well as secondary fracture prevention.
