Frances Rodriguez-Ramos is a postbaccalaureate research fellow at the National Institutes of Health. She is from Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, and received a bachelor's degree in biology with an emphasis in biomedicine from the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla in 2024. After graduation, she relocated to Bethesda, Maryland, to begin her postbaccalaureate position in Brown Lab, a clinical research lab within the Diabetes, Endocrinology, & Obesity Branch of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases studying rare disorders of extreme insulin resistance. Her research focuses on how impaired insulin signaling impacts vascular function.
