Ronald Cohen, MD is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Section of Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Chicago. He obtained his MD at Cornell University Medical College and then did Internal Medicine and Endocrinology training at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. After spending two additional years as an Instructor at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School, he moved to the University of Chicago. Dr. Cohen sees a range of endocrinology disorders with a focus on patients with thyroid disease. His research focuses on metabolism and adipocyte biology.
