Dr. Nidan Qiao is an Associate Chief Physician and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. He received his PhD in Clinical Medicine from Fudan University, a Master of Medical Sciences in Clinical Research from Harvard Medical School, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuroendocrine Unit of Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Qiao serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Chinese Pituitary Adenoma Cooperative Group and the World Chinese Neurosurgical Society. In 2025, he received the First Prize for Young Physicians at the National Neurosurgery Continuing Education Conference and the Young Pioneer Award of the Chinese Pituitary Adenoma Cooperative Group.
Dr. Qiao is the principal investigator of grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission (Key Project), and a Sino-US collaborative project. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles, including five in journals with an impact factor greater than 10, and serves on the editorial board of Acta Neurochirurgica. He is editor-in-chief of two books: Medical Big Data and Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.
