Anna Koppin is a third-year PhD candidate in the Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics Program at University of Minnesota. Her research in Dr. Thu H. Truong’s laboratory focuses on estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer, with an emphasis on the molecular mechanisms driving therapy resistance and disease recurrence. Her current work investigates how metabolic reprogramming promotes ER+ breast cancer therapy resistance, recurrence, and metastasis.
