Olivia Ginnard, D.O. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Divisions of Nutrition and Diabetes & Endocirnology, at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. She is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. In addition to seeing patients for general endocrinology or diabetes needs, she is a member of the multidisciplinary team for the Texas Children's Hospital Prader-Willi Syndrome clinic. She is also a Physician-Scientist who specializes in the field of neuroendocrinology to better impact patient lives. Her specific research interests involve the development of a comprehensive understanding of how alterations in brain pathways contribute to the pathologic disease states of obesity and diabetes in children. By pursuing basic science research and continuing to see patients in clinic, she hopes to bridge the bench to the bedside and make impactful discoveries that will better her patients' lives.
