Nuclear receptors form functional complexes to affect transcriptional activities. While these complexes may be part of its normal protein functions, their dysfunctions can drive disease pathologies. New technologies offer promise to
identify how interacting proteins change to impact both disease and healthy states. Defining and dissecting the roles of such functional nuclear receptor complexes will improve our understanding of endocrine actions while revealing
new opportunities for therapeutic intervention.
