Beatriz Santana Soares Rocha, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She coordinates a neuroendocrinology referral clinic and her clinical and academic work focuses on pituitary and adrenal disorders, including the diagnosis and management of complex hypothalamic–pituitary diseases. Her research interests include the molecular and translational characterization of pituitary tumors, endocrine genetics, and the integration of clinical phenotyping with genomic and biomarker-driven approaches. Dr. Rocha has contributed to the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SBEM), including leadership roles within the Minas Gerais regional chapter and national neuroendocrinology initiatives. She completed a visiting research period at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, strengthening international collaborations in pituitary and adrenal tumor research and education.
