Elaine W. Yu, MD, MMSc is Associate Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and physician-scientist in the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Endocrine Unit, where she serves as the Director of the MGH Bone Density Center. Dr. Yu focuses on bone and mineral disorders, and is the Principal Investigator of studies investigating the pathophysiology and treatment of skeletal fragility due to bariatric surgery and diabetes, as well as examining health disparities in osteoporosis.
