Jessica Abramowitz, MD, MSCS is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where she serves as Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship Program. She completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Hofstra North Shore–LIJ following residency and chief residency in internal medicine. She also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Science from UT Southwestern
Dr. Abramowitz’s clinical and academic work focuses on endocrine disorders across the lifespan, with particular expertise in transgender medicine and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. She participates in clinical research examining the effects of hormones in diverse populations.
She is deeply committed to medical education and holds multiple leadership roles, including Endocrine Medical Education Lead for the Internal Medicine Clerkship and Faculty Special Education Coordinator for endocrinology within the residency program and co-course director for the endocrine course in the medical school.
Dr. Abramowitz is an active member of the Endocrine Society and has contributed to national committees focused on patient engagement and endocrine education.
