Vania Balderrama-Brondani, MD, PhD. MDAnderson Cancer Center
Dr. Balderrama-Brondani, is an endocrinologist and physician-scientist focused on adrenal tumors. She earned her medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University in Brazil and completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism. She obtained her PhD in Endocrinology from the University of São Paulo, where she studied molecular prognostic markers in adrenal cancer. Dr. Balderrama-Brondani is currently a postdoctoral fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Mohammed Habra and Dr. Jeena Varghese. Her research focuses on advanced adrenal cancer, including systemic therapies and circulating tumor DNA, with the goal of improving clinical outcomes.
