He is currently the treasurer of the European Society of Endocrinology
His research is concentrated in three pivotal areas: the diagnosis and management of pituitary disorders—specifically acromegaly, familial diseases, and tumors; the intersection of metabolic health, diabetes, obesity and pituitary disease with a focus on dietary interventions; and the long-term endocrine and metabolic outcomes for survivors of childhood cancer.
A prolific contributor to the field, he has authored over 260 peer-reviewed articles. His work is frequently featured at premier global forums, including the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE), ENDO, Symposium on Late Complications After Childhood Cancer, meetings of the American Society of Hematology and the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP).
